Arm & Leg Pain
Arm and leg pain is often a result of irritation to the nerves that originate in the neck or lower back. Muscles, joints and nerves in those areas can become compromised from chronic and compressive spasms, disc bulges or herniations, and degenerative disc disease. When nerves that run from the neck or back become irritated the pain can travel along the entire length of the nerve or show up as isolated pain points in the arms or legs.
Treatment for arm and leg pain begins with detecting the specific source of irritation and then establishing a plan for alleviating the cause of the irritation. Whether the source of the problem is muscular, disc, or joint related; targeted massage, directed range-of-motion, specific exercises and spinal manipulation are the most effective means of alleviating the pain.
