After more than a decade of seeing Chiropractors for middle and lower back pain and discomfort, I had resigned myself to the belief that any relief I received would be temporary. Accepting that in the absence of regular (bi-monthly) “adjustments” the pain and discomfort would quickly return.
After months of not going to my regular Chiropractor, I decided to visit Dr. Silverman to once again receive some temporary relief of my pain and discomfort. From the first visit, Dr. Silverman made it clear that his goal was to treat the cause of my pain and discomfort and not necessarily the symptoms. His objective was to have my visits to his office be minimal.
Dr. Silverman quickly identified that my problem was with the muscles of my back that were pulling me out of alignment and as a result causing the pain and discomfort. He explained and showed me how I could fix this problem using some very simple techniques. The techniques involved massaging my back muscles using balls and regular stretching exercise of the back.
After only 3 visits and following the massage and stretching routine, my pain and discomfort have greatly been reduced. I’m very encouraged by the improvement in my back health.

“In the mid 80’s I was a modern dancer, but my dancing career was cut short due to back surgery. For twenty years I went through a cycle of disc surgeries, physical therapy and pain management and thought I was doomed to suffer a “bad back” forever. However, after going through Dr. Silverman’s program, I am pain free. He has given me an arsenal of simple yet effective exercises that I can do at any time that will keep my back healthy and strong for the rest of my life. Most importantly, I have regained the confidence and feeling of health and safety I needed to start dancing again. That is invaluable.”

“When I first went to Dr. Silverman I was 37 years old and with a back that felt like it was 60. I had trouble standing up from the couch or putting my socks on. I am now back to playing full court basketball weekly and have begun training for a triathlon.”
